| Life's Abundance Question I just ordered a bag of this and my dogs went nuts over it! Now my friend scared me, she is saying if you feed that you have to supplement, is that true? It says nothing like that on their website.

| I e-mailed them, they responded within 30 min. If anyone is interested here is what she said. Thank you for your email. Not true. Supplementation is a matter of choice a hotly debated. As you can tell by the label, this food has plenty of wonderful ingredients, vitamins and minerals. Thank you,

| I have been using Life's Abundance for the past 8 months or so for Ralphie and for my daughter's 2 chi's and the shihtzu who live me. It's excellent food but unfortunately I can no longer use it because of Ralphie stones. My daughters dogs love it, but I think they'll eat anything that's not nailed down! I never used any supplements and we still don't. I will tell you one thing though. I ordered THEIR vitamin supplement and no matter how I tried to disguise it, Ralphie spit it out or ran the other way. It's big and obviously not appealing in taste. I also tried a few of the treats from HealthyPetNet and he didn't like them, but he absolutely loved the dry food. |

| Ferdinand can't eat Life's Abundance. Even when I very slowly mixed it with his old food, it made him throw up and have diarrhea. I don't know if it was a bad batch or what, but they wouldn't give me a refund. They've got a pretty holistic food though, I doubt you have to supplement with it.

But, my daughter's smallest chi...she's 1lb 12oz full grown...did throw up a bit in the beginning after she switched her food, as did the shihtzu. However, I told my daughter I didn't think it was the food because it's now several months down the road since her dogs have been using it and occasionally they'll throw up. I told her I think it's from whatever little furry dustballs and junk they find on her floors...a hint for her to clean up a little!

| Life's Abundance The last time I checked Menadione, a synthetic form of Vitamin K, was added to Life's Abundane. Some people believe this is a harmful chemical and should be avoided. |

"It is not a harmful chemical but can be toxic in very high amounts. According to AAFCO who polices pet food we had to use it until last year. We don?t have it in any of our foods. The new labels and the new web site will reflect that." Also, you do not have to feed the Daily Supplement with the food. Just as we do not have to take a multivitamin with our meals everyday. There isn't a pet food on the market that contains every nutrient known to man. Life's Abundance is a "Complete and Balanced Meal" that may be supplemented with the Daily Supplement as stated on the web site: Provides a broad spectrum of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, natural plant oils and green foods to supplement a healthy diet. Helps maintain good health and well-being. Helps maintain healthy immune and liver function. Delicious liver flavor to enhance acceptance.

| I have two sample bags of L.Abundance. I mixed some in with my puppy's dry food and she pooped three times the same day all green and very soft and runny. Unsure if it was too much at once or not. I want to try Canidae also soon.

| Honestly, mine have do so well on LA. My labels do not list Meniadone.........it's been a while since they took it out along with other manufacturers. I guess not every yorkie is the same...........I will continue to feed it until I have a reason not to. I cannot begin to say what dramatic changes I have seen on all of their coats........

| switching Am thinking of switching my new baby from natural choice (itching) over to Life's Abudance. Has anyone noticed itching from their babies when on LA? Also does anyone know if they are advocates of animal testing? |

| HealthyPetNet does not use animal testing, but Life's Abundance has been tested in AAFCO feeding trials. |
