The last time I checked Menadione, a synthetic form of Vitamin K, was added to Life's Abundane. Some people believe this is a harmful chemical and should be avoided.
I emailed Dr Jane Bicks, HealthyPetNet food formulator about your statement and I am posting her reply below:

"It is not a harmful chemical but can be toxic in very high amounts. According to AAFCO who polices pet food we had to use it until last year. We don?t have it in any of our foods. The new labels and the new web site will reflect that."

Also, you do not have to feed the Daily Supplement with the food. Just as we do not have to take a multivitamin with our meals everyday.

There isn't a pet food on the market that contains every nutrient known to man. Life's Abundance is a "Complete and Balanced Meal" that may be supplemented with the Daily Supplement as stated on the web site:

Provides a broad spectrum of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, natural plant oils and green foods to supplement a healthy diet.
Helps maintain good health and well-being.
Helps maintain healthy immune and liver function.
Delicious liver flavor to enhance acceptance.
