| What will help Katie's hair??? Katie has a very fine silky hair and she has an itching problem. The vet said it was allergies and thought it was to corn so we changed her food to Nutro Natural Lamb and Rice. She is doing great on this, itches just once in awhile and I think that is probably due to dry skin? Well, I have tried various shampoos.....she seems to be having no problems from that...but her hair just does not grow very much. I think it breaks off easily? I am using the Grizzly salmon oil in her food and she is taking vitamins. What else is good for growing a coat? She has beautiful, easy to care for hair, it just won't grow! Max has about 2 or 3 haircuts to her 1....and that is just to do a basic grooming around the eyes, ears, etc. I have not had any length cut off at all. My grandmother suggested vitamin e capsules but I am not sure what would be safe dosage for her and I think that is already in the grizzly oil too? I would appreciate any help if any of you have had luck with certain products. There are so many things out there that say they help but who knows what really works?? Thanks

Katie and my Bobbi must be related He too, has an easy to manage coat. Lately, his skin has been very flaky and itchy. I have been feeding him NO corn kibble (Life's Abundance) and using petsilk shampoo. Yesterday, I switched him to Canidae all life stages and bought a tea tree oil shampoo with oatmeal. He got his bath yesterday and it seems to have helped. He has been on missing link as the only supplement. When I was at the vet's last time, my vet said she did not think it was allergies. She recommended I get a humidifier.............which I am going to go get today. His coat grows ever-so-slowly as well. He tumbles and rolls on the carpet all day playing with his sister and brother (poodle and cat).........so it too breaks off. I really swear by the missing link though....... He is almost 6 months and this is him last night: http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o...V/100_0009.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o...BBI_LUV/23.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o...BBI_LUV/31.jpg

| Oh he is just adorable! I love the dark coloring. His hair looks great! Where do you get the missing link? I have read a little about that on here but I have never found it. I hope she will eat it, she is a very picky eater.

I give him the missing link Plus.........I am not purchasing it from Beyondspoiled.com (Owned by Kathryn_V, a member here). He has been on it for 3 months now. It also comes in regular (without the joint support) and vet-strength (which I get from the vet for my poodle who has arthritis). Also, if you are giving him the Grizzly Salmon Oil, you should not be giving the ML. It's either or.........or you run the risk of oversupplementing this small breed. Good luck

| Well, I knew I wanted to try Canidae and the only place to me that carried it was Agway. (Agway.com) I drove there and it's like a feed supply store but they carry Innova, Wellness, Canidae etc Bottle was 10 bucks. I have been using nothing but Petsilk on Bobbi before.
