| Toto's not a baby anymore!!! The Toto went to Dr. Lucy's for removal of that baby tooth that she missed when the others were removed in March!! She didn't have to have teeth cleaning as the permanent teeth were pronounced "perfect"!! I just realized that was the last "baby thing" about her! It made me sad but pleased that she's grown into such a "little lady". She had the little procedure and was her normal, prissy self by last night ... I suspect that she did much better than I. We will still spend today being "quiet" ... more for me than her!! She is still my "baby" even though there is no more physical evidence!!!

| Awwwww....the tiny one all grown up! Hey Bettyeanne, do you brush Toto's teeth a lot? Higgins loves to lick the toothpaste off the brush, but NO WAY will he let me "brush" those little teeth. We've been relying on milkbones and greenies to keep 'em clean. So far, they look great and smell good. We do the same for Pogo and his teeth are in great shape for an old dog. |

| Aww, little Toto all grown up! How sweet! But she will always be your little baby! Heck, she can't grow too much bigger, can she? yizzl: PLEASE brush your baby's teeth! Or give them some Greenies often. A member here's Mom neglected their Yorkies teeth, and they had to be removed in the Yorkies older age (early teens I believe). So make sure to brush those teeth! |

Otis got his teeth cleaned last month, and they had to remove four teeth, even though I brush his teeth on a regular basis, the doctor said losing teeth is a part of the breed. I still brush Otis's teeth every day, though. | |

| I have to admit I don't brush Cookie's teeth on a daily basis but I do get it done about twice a week. I sit her on the plush toilet seat cover and she sits there waiting for the yummy toothpaste... She definitely bites the baby toothbrush and licks the toothpaste but I make sure to sit there long enough to get all sides of her teeth. The toughest part of her mouth to brush are her top front teeth... Just as I would rinse, I pick her up and rinse her little face as she manages to get the toothpaste all over her snout. LOL! I tried those finger toothbrushes but she would just bite down or lick it more than anything. Hope it gets easier one day! Bettyeanne: Toto is a baby in a little lady's body with a great mommy. No matter how old they are they will still be our babyies. -RubyC Last edited by RubyC; 10-17-2004 at 06:06 PM. |
