Hey Bettyeanne, do you brush Toto's teeth a lot? Higgins loves to lick the toothpaste off the brush, but NO WAY will he let me "brush" those little teeth. We've been relying on milkbones and greenies to keep 'em clean. So far, they look great and smell good. We do the same for Pogo and his teeth are in great shape for an old dog.
I don't brush them "a lot" ... but it's the current thing we are working on. The brush I bought is one of those that's supposed to be "the bomb" ... has three tiny little brushes shaped in a fashion that's supposed to make it a snap to brush their teeth. I suppose it is a great idea and would work great if she had a bigger mouth! It appears to be too large so I bought her the tiniest human baby toothbrush I could find and we're gonna try that! She gets an occasional milkbone and I give her one little greenie per week ... she would like them lots more often but I don't think they are supposed to have lots of greenies! Will let you know how this little baby brush works!
