| Yorkies eat little by nature because of their size. There is NO reason to regulate how much they eat!!! Let them eat all they want in 15-20 minutes! Why keep a pet when you can't even feed your pet the amount of food they need??!! I just can't stand people who does this! Oh I forgot to add, is she feeding him 3 times a day like it is supposed to be for a puppy? Make sure she does!!! And don't forget the snack before bed and some treats! Argh!

| That is so scary...have you told her about the potential health problems that can arise? I worry constantly that T.O. doesn't eat enough and I worry that when he doesn't want food his blood sugar will drop and cause major scary issues...I hope for the dog's sake she will look into all of the problems this could lead to... |

| She is making the Yorkie skinny not smaller. I had a skinny Yorkie before. He was like that because of stomach problems (always throwing up). Small may be nice for some people but I can't see why skinny would be desired. My 13 yr old female use to weigh 4-5 lbs but weighs about 3.5 lbs. She lost weight with age.

No Longer a Member | Ditto. I can't "deal" with people or animals being too skinny. That is the kind of thing that horrifies me. Bryana, It is not enough that your sister is giving in and increasing his food "little by little." You need to make sure she feeds him the full amount or report her. If you don't, you're allowing her to do it. Do you want to be "in on it" if this puppy dies of malnourishment? Do the right thing. |
