HEY!!

I'ma little bit concerned that Zoe is getting too much tears. He used to have very little and all he needed was a little wipe, he now has ALOT of tears. the passage along the eye is constantly wet. He does not seem to have an eye infection and I was wondering of this is normal.

Does he have hair sticking in his eyes? Are his tears really watery or are they gooey? If they are watery, I wouldn't worry about it. If they are gooey tears, he may have conjunctivitis. My 2 get conjunctivitis and I have to put this antibiotic cream in their eyes whenever they start oozing gooey stuff. But the cream clears it up right away!

Was your baby on any kind of medication? My baby is de-wormed a week ago and his eyes are more teary than usual.

layla has watery eyes... always wet.... i've given up.. i read somewhere that distilled water helps.. we did that for 3 months.. nothing changed.. just the way it's going to be i think!

I'm sure some little dogs just tear more than others - and for them, it's normal.

But do be sure that there are no hairs poking around their eyes. This would be irritating and keep them tearing constantly.

I'm going to make a grooming appointment and make sure they cut the hairs around his eyes.

Its weird, sometimes he has it sometimes he don't. Today - no extra tears but it was a waterfall yesterday.
