| Ok, I never thought of doing this before. I use revolution on my two dogs. One dog is 11 lbs, the other is 7 pounds, both are Yorkies. I usually by for dogs 5.1-10 lbs in weight (0.25 ml) for the small dog and 10.1-20 lbs in weight (0.50ml) for the bigger dog. Couldn't I somehow use the bigger dose for both dogs? Does anyone know how much each one would get from the larger tube? Periwinkle |

I have a plastic little vial with a cap which stays shut at all times. I open the tube and pour it into the vial which allows me to reuse it every month since its really a 10 month supply for one dog. I have a 1 ML syringe and fill it up to the .4 line. This dose is good for dogs 1-10 lbs. This saves me loads of money. I also have had no problems with doing it this way.

Oh and one more thing...make sure you mark the syringe with a Sharpie on the .4 line. If you don't all the numbers on the syringe will fade. Last edited by Timmy; 11-26-2006 at 07:27 AM.

| Its actually a baby medicine syringe. But you wont find it at most stores w/a lid. Check at family dollar, dollar general, dollar tree they might have it. I found some at my local fleamarket for about 3 or 4 bucks, I was happy to pay it since I looked everywhere.I'll pick some up if you'll pay me back +shipping. I have 3 or so for medicines, etc. The are handy. |

| please check with your vet before using your dogs meds on your cat, my husband several years ago accidently put our dogs frontline on the cat and she went into seziures, I took her to the vet and she had to stay overnight hooked up to fluids/meds. we didn't think she was going to make it. she recovered, but it was a terrible experience.

| I was thinking more for other meds, like nemex. I will store it in the fidge til I can get each dog chased down, lol. It use to leak out so I was really happy to find one with a lid & they are be nice for pets on daily meds for travel etc. I'm to lazy & impatient to split frontline up, I just buy the right size revolution saves me a bundle & takes care of heartworms to.So did you ever say where we can find these acceptable vials for frontline for those who need one Quote:
