Royal Canine is our food of choice Both my senior toy poodle  and my baby Yorkiepoo :aimeeyork eat Royal Canine. |
Pinnacle Trout and Sweet Potato :) |
Yoshie eats either Royal Canine or California Natural. |
Baby did eat Merrick's, but she's not crazy about it anymore. :( Now she eats Artemis dry and Evanger's Drummetts (wet). |
Hmmm.... I just switched to Royal Canin, he's not eating it as much as the other one. It was by Purina?? I'm gonna try the chicken soup! |
They like Royal Canin and one is a very picky eater. |
Nutro here for us too! |
Ruby has had home prepared meals for the most part. Recently she has been on Eagle Pack and would eat some kibbles. Just yesterday though, we got Wysong - Nurture w/free range pheasant. The only dry food she has ever eaten like she enjoyed her food. After reading extensively and her obvious preference, we will stick with Wysong varieties. |
I feed my dogs Science Diet for Puppies. My vet said to keep them on puppy food forever, cause it has all the good stuff in in. I have never even tried anything else. |
Feeding my Yorkie Life's Abundance - it is shipped fresh to my door. |
ZheZhe has been on Premium Edge for about 18 months and loves it. |
Just found this thread ;) Stedman eats Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul  |
|
Bump! |
It still will not let me vote. We are trying Innova now. My two Yorkies seem to eat any of the dry kibbles I have tried but not with eagerness like they do if I give them a little cottage cheese or a treat. But my other two dogs are VERY picky. Trying hard to get them on dry but they are resisting to the point they started losing weight and I caved and gave them canned again. |
Ferdinand eats Newman's Azmira lamb flavor with a tablespoon of cottage cheese on top. It's a holistic and natural food and he loves it. It's also really inexpensive - only $7 for the small bag. I can't remember how big it is, but it's the same size as the small Eukanuba Puppy kibble... one bag lasts us for almost 2 months! We tried the Life's Abundance but it made Ferdinand violently ill - even when we only added a little to his Eukanuba that he was on. :( |
I feed him Nutro but I'm about to switch to Blue |
i just switched from nutro to innova dry only with no probs so far... |
I mix wellness and merricks! Josie loves it. Then of course for treats, her favorite are frozen peas! |
Royal Canin Rocky loves this food, but ever since he's been on it he farts a lot. Does this happen with anyone elses babies that eat Royal Canin? |
Siu Pao was on Innova Puppy Dry and I am changing him to Canidae All Life Stages with some boiled egg, salmon, chicken (rotated). He is getting picky of both brands and am looking to change him to Nutro Ultra or California Lamb. |
I feed Izzy Nutro Ultra Puppy...the breeder fed it to him and I havent switched. He likes it and its really good for his skin and coat. |
Nutro Ultra Puppy is what my baby Jaxson gets! He actually really likes it and has small, firm poo! Good for him and for me to clean up! ;) |
Nature's Recipe and Bil Jac (They like the bil Jac best, but I mix half and hlaf so they also get the Holistic food - Nature's Recipe). Seems to work out best and I ahve tried it all. T. |
Life's Abundance... Quote:
I am hoping it's not my fault switching him from Newman's Own and Natural Balance to Life's Abundance. I'm about to try Wysong but maybe I"ll wait til his stones are analyzed to make the switch. I'd love to hear from anyone else using LIfe's Abundance. I thought the food was so fresh and well-balanced but I guess holistic food doesn't mean it's best for your baby either! |
Super Premium from Costco? Okay, my husband and I were strolling around costco yesterday. They have a super-premium store brand (Kirkland) dog food. It is from Diamond pet foods. As an example "40 lb bag for $15 at Costco. First 2 ingredients are Chicken and Chicken meal. Also has chicken fat, whole grain brown rice, barley, veggies, vitamins and no bad preservatives." Diamond is the same company that makes Chicken Soup for the PLS. . . I sent them an email and requested an ingredients list, but I thought I would ask if anyone was laready using it. |
