Im curious why the rabies shot is so hard on yorkies or is it all dogs? My baby will be 13 wks tomorrow is 4 months whne he needs rabies or 6months? Plz help I want to make sure I know because vets tend to tell you anything sometimes! Thanks

Our breeder told us to be very wary of vets. Due to the small size and delicate nature of Yorkies, as someone else said, they give the same dose to a 5 or 100 pound dog. Baby children are not dosed this way. I thought better safe than sorry. He also warned NEVER let them put a Yorkie asleep with a shot, they need to be gassed (for surgery or such).
