| question about science diet wet food my Napoleon is 7 months old and he is having eating problems. When we first got him at about 8 weeks old, all he ate was Cesars wet food mixed with Eukanuba dry food (we fed him that because that is what the breeder fed him) after about 3 months, we decided to switch to a better food and started feeding him only Nutro Max dry food for puppies. needless to say, he didnt like it and we had to literally wet the food and microwave it so that he could even touch it. We THEN decided to switch to Science Diet dry puppy food and only fed him that, but also had to microwave it and moisten it. Today, I came across the Science Diet WET food and decided to give it a try. I mixed some wet food with some dry food and he ate ALL the wet food and even some of the dry food and I didnt have to microwave anything! My question is, is science diet wet food ok for dogs.. is it recommended? |

| It is always better to feed a super-premium dry kibble. I have given up on the "please eat" game. I mix the dry kibble with a teeny tiny bit of high quality canned food and generally my gang gobbles up and asks for more |

| I only use enough canned food to "flavor" the dry. There are some "gravy" products on the market as well that you could try. When I am in the mood I make homemade "chicken goo" that I use as a flavor enhancer..... Recipe for Chicken Goo: 1 skinless/boneless chicken breast water Cover the chicken breast with water, boil until extra done -- to mushy state. Put the meat in a blender with just enough water to liquify. It turns out thick and gooy Use about a teaspoon per meal. It freezes well. |
