| What's wrong with my little Benji? Benji hasn't been sick in a very long time. Today, when I came home I noticed that he had gotten into the bathroom garbage. There wasn't much in it - kleenex, cue tips and some cotton balls. When I was eating dinner the little guy puked three times this white foamy stuff. I have never seen it before. I would clean one spot up and turn around and find another one on the carpet. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks for all your help. Worried - Holly |

| I wouldnt worry too much if the vomit is just clear and foamy. Sometimes they do that when they are hungry. Just keep an eye on him but i am sure he will be okay

| It is probably just because he is hungry. Make that little guy eat some food! However, if he KEEPS doing it and he starts acting like he doesn't feel good, you should probably take him to the vet for a quick check. |

| An empty stomach produces a yellow foamy bile vomit, not white. White is most likely an indication of a stomach upset. Are you sure there wasn't anything on the cotton balls that could have been toxic? You can give Maalox or Mylanta at 1/4 tsp. per 5 pounds of body weight to coat the stomach. It could also be a reaction to a dewormer, if used recently. It can also be from a throat infection or tonsillitis (usually also show signs of not wanting to eat and swallow and general lethargy, but usually don't have a temp.) |
