I don't see nothing except the bleedy marks she did with her nails scratching and scratching. I bought from Petsmart some product which heals the irritation and also qutips for relief of ear mites bites. Bu t in the meantime, I take her to the vet, what can I do? Please help. Thank you. |

| Your best bet is to take her to the vet and let them check her ears.

| It is either mites or an ear infection. All you can do is take her to the vet so they can clear it up. Hope she gets well soon! |

| Lola just had this problem too. When we first got her, they checked her ears and she had ear mites, but they were all dead. The vet told us that meant that the person who sold her to us had already treated them. We treated her again to make sure she was rid of all of them. She started scratching them again a few weeks ago. She also had little sores in her ears from scratching so hard. Took her to the vet and they said it wasn't mites. They shaved her ears and gave us some ointment to put in her ears. They also gave her a steroid shot to stop the itching. We had her allergy tested because she is always scratching at one time or another. We are still waiting for the results. Good luck with your search on whats wrong with your little one. I hope you find the cause.

| It could either be mites or an ear infection. Codie is prone to getting ear infections -- so I always keep a supply of ear drops (from my vet) at home and on hand -- those drops ger rid of the infection right away. I clean Codie and Tia's ear every day with a q-tip (part of their daily grooming). If you clean your pups ears with a q-tip and a thick, dark (brownish black) discharge comes on the q-tip, your dog probably has an ear infection (could be from getting water in his ear during a bath). NOTE: When you put the q-tip in your dogs ear, DO NOT push it all the way in. Be very careful not to damage the ear and/or hurt your dog. You should GENTLY skim the surface and only go slightly into the ear canal ... but VERY slightly. Only a vet or trained professional should go deeper into the ear. If it's done wrong, serious injury can occur. So be careful. BUT, I would still highly recommend taking your dog to a vet FIRST and FOREMOST before trying any of this. The only reason I clean Codie's ears myself is because he gets frequent ear infections and the vet taught me how to properly care for it -- as well as gave me a big supply of ear medicine. Good luck and I hope baby feels better soon. I bet his little ears must be so itchy. Codie and Tia send him kisses!

| My husband just called me. Kissie had an infection in both ears. The vet cleaned them up and gave us a product to do it weekly and also antibiotics ears drops (2 drops in the morning 2 drops in the night). I hope she will get better soon. |
