| If you do, how often and how old was your fur kid when you started doing it?

| Donating YT 14K Club Member | I use to brush everytime I bathed and then at least one other time a week. They hated it. I've noticed with London and Rebel that their teeth stay pearly white. No yellowing...at all. Gracie is another story. Her teeth do get yellow and she gets yuck mouth. I need to get her teeth cleaned again.

| Sissy gets them brushed one a week during "spa day". I use the Life for Teeth gel to brush and on the other days, she just gets some of the gel. Her teeth look great so far. I began brushing when I got her at 13 weeks. She still doesn't like it much!!

| I try to brush Trixie's teeth ever two or three days. She doesn't mind it and it keeps her teeth white and shiny! And I started it right away when I got her, at 14 wks.

| YT Addict | I brush Cha-Cha's teeth everyday at least one time a day but sometimes I brush her teeth twice after her meals. Now Cha-Cha is 4.5 years old and never go for professional dental clean but her teeth is still while, no sign of tartar. |

| what a battle we have with that area! Buckeye gets his teeth cleaned once a year. brushing is difficult even for him (he usually will let me do anything to him). Ahia, on the other hand, sees the brush, then runs and hides. when the pups were born, I tried each day to go in their mouth, run my hands all over them, brushed the hair, clipped nails, etc. only thing they don't like is the brush in the mouth. my finger does ok. they dont' want the brush!

| Speaking of cleanings... I asked my vet if he did them and he told me that he doesn't recommend it b/c the dog has to go under anesthesia.... is this true????

| I have a really hard job cleaning Dukes teeth and when he went to have 8 baby teeth extracted, the vet cleaned his teeth as they were dirty (bad mummy ) However when i told my vet the trouble i have he gave me this little tub of ''plaque off''. All i have to do is sprinkle a fingerful on each meal and the gritty granules clean the teeth for me |

| My Cookie hides whenever she sees me with the toothpaste I've never heard of "plaque off". Do you know where you can buy it? I've heard so much about Life for Teeth gel that I bought some and are awaiting it's arrival. I've been using Dentatreat for a couple of weeks. You sprinkle it on their food. I haven't noticed any difference yet but she loves the taste and will eat her dry food without my having to mix in can food! The woman I got Cookie from told me there is a group of people that go to grooming establishments and clean dogs teeth. They are called Canine Care and are all over the US. Their phone number is 1-800-844-3532. I thought I might give them a call. The cost is around $60 and they do not put the dog under anesthesia. Has anyone else heard of them? |

| I've never even tried to brush their teeth. Their teeth have stayed pearly white thus far, so I'm not worried about it. When their breath starts a stinkin', I'll just get the vet to clean them professionally. |
