We were recently stationed in South Korea, that is where I got my Tinkerbell, We had a 12 hour straight flight from Korea to San Francisco and we had no problems in any way, we had to get a health certificate from the vet sayin she was updated on all her shots and she didn't have any diseases and when we got to the airport we had to get a paper saying it was ok for her to fly, it was all done quickly and without a problem. We flew United Airlines and they were great, they allowed me to take her out of her bag and carry her on my lap, I made sure she had water and some food, before departing I took her potty in the bathroom on a pee pad of course and she did have one accident

she was also kinda dizzy after we got home but she did fine for such a long flight, I say to bring her with you and try to get all the right info from base and the requirements.

I just took royce on hollidays with me . the flight from montreal to paris is 7 hrs then had to wait 2 hrs in paris and then from paris to tunisia it;s 2.5 hrs flight that's a total of 12 hrs Royce did totally fine ( i prepared his trip very well toys to take on the plane, treats ,pee pads water , medications ...)
The fee is expensive , om my way there they didn't allow me to take him out of his bag but on my way back he on my lap during all the flight .

As much as I would hate to leave my furbabies there is no way I could bring them on such a long flight..I would find someone that I really trusted and ask them to care for her/him.

I feel like a month is quite a long time to leave such a young dog. I would be worried about the type of care and training that my dog was receiving while I was gone. My dog is like a child to me and I couldn't leave him for that long!!
