| Hair Loss Near Nose My little Bella recently spent a week at the doggy spa while we were on vacation. She came home, and I noticed a little hairless spot near her nose. She was groomed while we were gone, so I assumed she was cut to close. However, the spot seems to be getting bigger. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Your advise is greatly appreciated!

| I just yesterday went thru a similiar expierience. I just got back from the vet and what I thought might be ringworm turned out to be a hotspot. I would probably check with your vet to make sure. I was given some gel to apply on macy's called tresoderm(sp). Let us know what you find out. |

| Leather ear, which causes hair loss, can also appear on the bridge of the nose. Do a search on "leather ear". We have discussed it a number of times here on YT |

| Update on Bella Well, it's official, Bella has RINGWORM! I will never board her again!!!!! Now what? The vet has put her on a topical medication, but I have a lot of unanswered questions. How long will she still be contagious? What about my home and family? I'm sure there are other threads on ringworm, so I will look around. But I would so appreciate any advise on the subject.
