| That is a crazy price. With blood work and all my vet charges 80.00 + blood work about another $30.00. Maddie had to have 2 small hernias removed and getting fixed at the same time and its no where near $500.00 |

| I live in Center City so the closer the better since I don't have a car. I probably will end up just getting it done in VA with my original vet unless I get good recommendations for somewhere here in Philad. |

| The vet I go to now charges btw 100-150, but it doesn't inlcude blood work. I think that's a decent price but wouldn't mind finding something for less

Some of the vets will tell you $75 but then when you get there say, by the way, its a good idea to do a blood work up to see if she's in good enough condition for the anesthesia and that will be extra. Then when you get ready to take her home, they say, oh, did you want any pain medication to take home for her? The NE is higher but $500-$600 for a routine spay is surely not the going rate. Let us know what you find out. Good luck. | |

| Kahlua was Neutered on August 1st in Lafayette, LA. Its hard for me to give you a total cost because he also had teeth pulled at the same time, so I'm not sure of some of the costs that may have or may have not been included if he were just getting neutered. But, his castration (neutering) was $95. Then it looks like another $90 for anesthesia, surgery packs, and surgical fluid. Hope this is still some help to you.
