| I've enjoyed reading this thread. I've had my Schnauzer and Bo on ground flax seed for better skin and coat health. It's really made a difference in Woody (Schnauzer). He still itches but doesn't chew, scratch and rub on the furniture till he bleeds anymore and looks 100% better. I added the naturapet.com web site to my favorites and also googled missing link and added petvetdirect.com because they carry that. I noticed the first ingredient in missing link is flax seed. It's nice to have alternatives on hand if needed. Thanks everyone!

| I got Missing Link for Gucci. I also change her food from Nutro Max Natural choice to California Natural. I really wanted to get Innova but the pet store had runout. I found another place that carry Innnova so i will get it next time. I also got Oatmeal Shampoo. I really hope this will help her. Thanks everyone for all the advise. |

| Did Missing Link help Gucci? We are having serious problems with Baby. She is 8yrs. old and is really suffering this year from itching, flacky, dry skin. She's now starting to chew her hair to the point that it's breaking off. We've been to the vet's and have had shots, oatmeal shampoo and benedryl.Nothing helps! So we want to know if Missing Link could be the answer. Thanks so much. |

| I used a shampoo for Stewie's dry skin with oatmeal and tea tree oil. His skin was awful and now its fine. I also used Omega drops in his food.

| Hi,Marie (and.Gucci):Thanks for answering my note.I ordered Innova from the web site and Baby loves it.We are also giving her Missing Link.We took her to the vet and he prescribed Termaril-P and Clavamox until her itching goes away.Well, she is doing so much better and it's only been this past week that we did all this.I'm not sure if it's any one thing or what but, she's so much better.Wanted to share that you. Thanks again,Judee |

| Judee, do you know what the Termaril-P and Clavamox are? Those are two that Woody has never been on. I may suggest them to my vet. Thanks.

| Hi,Cynthia (and Bo):Yes,the Clavamox is an antibioctic containing amoxicillin trihydrate/clavulanate potassium.the Temaril-p is prednisone with antihistamine. The temaril-P replaced the Benadryl we were giving her. She still has dry, flaky skin but it doesn't seem to bother her.We bathe her with oatmeal and teatree shampoo.I think the flaky skin will go away shortly.I'm also very impressed with Innova dry dog food.I have heard you can purchase it at Target's new pet line but I'm not sure. If,you try it for your Bo,let me know what you think.Best regards,Judee[QUOTE] |
