| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | it looks like a hicky. i'm thinking the groomer either got the vacumn caught on her when she was sucking up the hair with the vacumn or its a blow dryer burn mark. With the new picture it doesn't look like ringworm |

| after seeing lastest picture ringworm doesn't make 2 rings inside each other, at least when we had it, it didn't thats been 4 years ago, memory isn't what it use to be, but I am sure of that. It looks more like a burn now like a hair dryer rings....I hope not for your sake but something cause it and if it happen like over night I truely doubt its ringworm that big so fast...

| I have two questions. How big in diameter is the outer circle? The reason I ask is I am a groomer and I am trying to figure out what tool could cause a mark like that. Also, did someone draw on her tummy? Looks like a faint tattoo or ink mark on her tummy. Not on the red mark but on her tummy. Just curious. Is there any chance the red circle was there before the trip to the groomer? In the first picture it doesn't look fresh enough to have happened at the groomers. It almost looks a bit scabby like it had happened a day or two before.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before we took her to the groomer's that morning. I was giving her lot's of love and belly rubs before I dropped her off - but there is a possibility it could have been. The skin in the middle was like a brown colour and when I wipe it with cool water it peels off. The markings on her tummy are a tattoo from the original breeder. We can't read them very well and are not sure what they mean. Punkin was bought out of province by a local breeder to be part of their breeding program, but she developed an underbite and was for sale. We never thought to ask what it meant. We have her microchipped just in case.

| Do doggies get lyme's disease? I'm just trying to rack my brain with what it could be. I'm so curious! Can your furbaby get a skin culture done? Or maybe be taken to a different vet? Or...take her back to the groomer and asked what the heck happened!

| responding to the add you left about on mine asking me to look at the picture. Bacis ringworm doesnt exactly look like this. Its not really red. But it could be in a different stage than Baci's is bc he had it before I got him and didnt know it. So who knows how long he has had the lesions. You sure your vet said it definately wasnt ringworm? If its not I would go with some kind of burn. hope i helped some

| IMO it looks like a bad burn... especially if the skin is browning and peeling. I just don't get how it would have happened though... you'd have to hold a really hot hairdryer fairly close to the skin and the heat would HURT the dog's sensitive skin after just a few seconds.... so strange - let us know if you find out what it is!

| Reminds me of a spider or tick bite. Some of these leave the round mark
