Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Wow Sorry I don't know what to tell you here. Sounds like your little man is very busy there. Someone should have some answers for you. I know that when Lex starts to hump something I swat him on the behind and tell him no and he stops. I read that neutering slows aggression and humping so I am not sure if that will be the answer. What brings on the aggression? Is it him wanting to hold on and hump or just being aggressive overall now?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | has both of your little wild man's testicles dropped? if so i recommend an immediate neuter. talk to your vet. this is the best way to stop the aggression. you want to eliminate that aggressive behavior as soon as possible and the humping isn't so fun either. In the meantime, you can try time outs, a sharp no, a squirt bottle, a can filled with pennys thrown near him(not at him lol), or a little pop on the bottom. |

| Hmmm... sorry to ask, but what's so hilarious about a 12 week old humping puppy I don't think the fun will last very long

That's exactly my point, and no i am not offended.... it will take a LOT more to offend me, what i meant is that... as he get's older, the humping will not be so cute anymore nor will the aggression be anything to laugh about.

| This behavior has nothing to do with sex or with age. He is trying to dominate you. He does not respect you as the leader of the pack. No dog of any age would try that with the pack leader. Use you hand as a mouth and when he exhibits any agressive or unwanted behavior, nip at his shoulder and say no or stop or don't or whatever word you choose. But don't let it continure. It may be funny to you, but the longer it continues, the harder it will be to correct. check out this website for more information. http://www.dogchannel.com/dog/expert...aspx?WT.srch=1 |

| QUOTING YOU: "i jus know his humpinng is hilarious" Not funny or cute to me. With a little puppy, I just stop it and try not to make a big deal of it. I stopped my pup from doing that when he was only 8 weeks old.... had to get rid of a few of his favorite toys - but that's life! He's 9 months old (still not neutered - but will be soon) and he rarely humps. Aggression, biting, and growling are something you need to deal with ASAP. These traits really are unacceptable for a pet that I'm sure you got hoping it would become a happy, loveable member of your family. I know you'll get a lot of good advise for both your problems from people here on YT. Good luck - Carol Jean |

| Say no firmly or growl "Nah.." and either distract with acceptable play--ie fetch etc.or ignore for 2 or 3 minutes and then initiate good play. A spray water bottle for some behaviours can work too. You don't want him humping visitors legs when older--embarrassing! Take away toys he humps for a bit. Are you going to puupy preschool?-lots of good advice there and good training tips. Sounds like he is ready to be taught some commands like 'sit' etc. for positive interaction. When he is fully immunised you will be able to take him out for walks and he may be a little calmer.

| Peanut started at 11weeks.We got him a stuffed Puppy. He only humped the stuffed animal !!!!!Now he is fixed at 7months. VEt said sometimes it could take up to 6months after surgery for the Humping to stop.I guess it depends on the dog. I have noticed after Peanuts surgery he is more mellow.
