| Missing Link Supplement Hello: Has anyone ever tried this supplement? or any other similar supplement for that matter? I want to start giving this to Brady as tends to chew on her paws and changing her food has proved almost impossible. Thanks! http://www.designinghealth.com/produ...ucts_main.html |

| I started Carter on it about a week or so ago. He loves it! No more paw chewing or licking.

| I used missing link for Oreo's really bad and dry skin, he also had dandruff.. i tried numerous diets, and shampoos.. but they never worked! Missing Link was truely the missing link in getting rid of it! and he's all over healthy now Last edited by Yorkie_GirL; 04-14-2005 at 05:17 PM. |

| Wow! I can't wait to get some now to see the results with Brady. Did you just feed it according to the instructions on the bag? |

| For those of you who alraedy use Missing Link: Do you use the " Original Formula Dog Supplements" or the "Glucosamine Plus Supplement" or the "Vegetarian Supplement for Dogs & Cats".....my dog not only licks her paws, she still scratches, although 90% less than she used to (before we started using Hypo Allergenic shampoo)....Thanks!! P.S.- She is on Nutro Natural Choice Lamb & Rice Small Bites

| I am using the original one, just the missing link supplement. since oreo was really tiny at the time, i'd put only a half a teaspoon full and mix it in his food. yappyscrappy - your baby could still be scratching / be allergic maybe because of the food. not to offend anyone, but nutro is to me in the same category as iams, eukanuba, pedigree. when i put oreo on missing link, i also changed his diet to canidae (he was on purina mighty dog).. and i saw a big difference. hope this helps. When I got Ruby (March 11, 2005, she was already a year old), and she was still eating Pedigree Puppy food...she not only needed to switch to an adult formula, but also to a new brand.. So, I bought a small bag of the Pedigree puppy and then some of the Nutro, since I saw that many on here use it (This was for transition purposes, of course). I am NOT offended by your comment, but I do not think that Nutro and Pedigree are in the same category, since Pedigree (Adult Small Bites) havs "GROUND YELLOW CORN, CHICKEN BY-PRODUCT MEAL" listed as the first 2 ingredients...On the other hand, Nutro (the kind I use) has no corn meal or chicken by-products and the first two ingredients are "Lamb Meal, Ground Rice"...I know it is not the BEST food out there, but I certainly think it is of better quality than Pedigree! Ruby doesn't immediately gobble up any food, but eats the whole bowl slowy....so I may transition into Natural Balance next... I want her to have somethings she loves....but she just isn't a pig, so I may never get that reaction...

| I use the original - not the plus. I use about 1/2 a teaspoon sprinkled over Carter's Nutro NC Ultra Puppy food. Carter is 9 months old and only about 3#.

| Does the supplement taste good to them?? It's dry right? Do you just mix it in with the dry kibble? Thanks |

| Carter LOVES it. He has licked it off the plastic spoon I use to sprinkle it on his food. He perks up when he sees me with the pouch in my hand.

| My Pookie has dry skin also, and I can really tell on his belly. I feel bad for him. I was wondering if it was his shampoo but anyways, where could I get that "Missing Link"? Petsmart or Petco?? Thanks!! |

| Wow! That stuff sounds awesome! I think I'll have to try it for my Maltese.. he chews his paws all the time despite my changing him to a holistic food.

| Missing Link Hi. If it helps: I have been using missing link since it came out. It is wonder for the trace nutrient replacement. Pumpkin, flax oil, and fresh meat additives to a diet make for a wonderful healthy animal, as long as the primary diet is of a high quality. This is my opinion, and what I do. Last night when we brought home Feliz, missing link, and Dick Van Patten's wet duck food were added as supplements to Feliz's food once we got her eating. My dogs never try to eat anything else when they are supplemented this way. Cheer's, deborah |

| I went to buy Missing Link last night and when the owner of the store saw that my Yorkie was a puppy he said it would not be a good idea to start supplementing at such a young age....he said to wait at least until she's 9 months old....has anyone else heard of not supplementing a puppy? |
