First time Breeders Click here I have a safe and fool proof way to wein/potty train yorkies all at the same time...and I have a safe way for mommy and her puppies to live...I stumbled across the idea..It worked wonders for my liter...all 5 dogs were paper trained by 6 weeks old...email me at bubba@sc.rr.com

take the top off and lay lenghtwise to match up with the other piece...( both ends will meet at the door section, giving you a 6 foot long section with a hump in the middle) Before pups are born use the frist piece to let the female bed down in...let her get used to it...when the pups are born lay down the other piece to "mate " with the other and you have a nursery safe for the puppies...the mom can still jump in or out as needed...(i put a short stool out for lex to use...as the puppies start to grow and explore, put puppy training pads on the "other side of the kennell" they will start to use them immediatly...as they start to wein, put food over there too...after about five weeks..the pups will be using pads daily and you can put pads around out side the kennell and they will use them ! after they are weined completly, they will be potty trained...Its hard to train a puppy to be potty trained, but if they are exposed to the training pads at a VERY early age, they will train "themselves"...for specs or other info ...bubba@sc.rr.com...I also have a pic of momma lex on the board...notice the kennel she is in with the pups...when they start walking around is when you attatch the other end of the kennell. | |

No clients lol... I bred Lex to get another "Alex"...It was the most time and money consuming thing I have ever done...I selectivly gave away every pup except one to people (like myself) that have lost a yorkie. I absorbed all the birth and vet bills..and shots as well...My pups couldnt have better homes though...It was a one time deal for me...But I tell ya, that kennell worked wonders, it was an accident but it needs to be a patented idea!

Biggie seems to have very runny (?) eyes. I have clipped the hair around his eyes a bit (it is so terribly difficult to do so), and I wash his face with a cloth quite a bit, but nothing seems to be overly helpful so far. Any suggestions? Any know causes of his runny eyes??

"Tear spotting" Common amoung small breed dogs...they have a simple proceedure now where they ream out the tear duct (sounds worse than it is) and it last for several years...I have a malteese too...he is cotton white, his eyes were terrible...had it done and NO MORE EYE buggers!@ or tears...YAY...ask your vet about it

Tear spotting They dont remove the duct...they make it slightly larger so that the mucus and saline can get out...there is no harm at all to the eyes...it makes the eyes breath better "if you will"..its a very humane and neccessary proceedure in my book..my maltese had some really hard crusty places on his eyes...now he has the normal, slight tear line down his face...much happier dog and he is much easier to clean...but blondie...My JJ had tear spotting bad when he was a young pup, it cleared up now..he is 5 months he is ok now...If his problem persist..you can do the eye duct thing...he will prolly grow out of it..

Rob, did they have to anesthesize your dog in order to do that procedure?
