| ![]() I forgot to mention, he is also having 2 front teeth removed and a microchip inserted. Does this add any extra pain to their recovery? |

| ![]() I had Jaxon neutered and he was back to his normal self within 2 days. I used the cone on him for 2 days to keep him away from the stitches. After that I took it off and he didn't bother the area at all. He had 2 baby teeth removed as well. My vet used dissolving stitches so they didn't need to be removed. I can't even see a scar now - very small incision, especially if they are young. |

| ![]() My Titan was neutered last week. The vet kept him overnight and I picked him up the next morning. He was absolutely fine. They gave him pain medication before I picked him up at 9:00 am and told me it would last 12 hours and gave me more to give him before bed. I tried to give him the medication but he was too busy chasing Brandy around. I finally gave up because he was fine anyway. He never acted like he felt a thing. He did not have any visible stitches just a fine incision line (about an inch long) which he never paid any attention to. He also had 4 teeth pulled at the same time and didn't seem to notice that either.

| ![]() My little guys and Minnie (lab) only needed the ecollar for a couple days, they didn;t lick or mess with it so it was not a big deal, but if i would have to leave them unantended for many hours, i would leave the ecollar on, just as a precaution ![]()

| ![]() I'm new to the forum. My 3 lb. furbaby, Toby was neutered last Tuesday, He was his old self that evening. I agree it is the mommies that have the problem. I was scared because of his size. Everything will be fine. I have learned a lot from the posts as Toby is my first Yorkie. Toby's mom. |

| ![]() Hi Lilly... Fagan was nuetered 4 months ago. We had him microchipped at the same time. He had no problem recovering. I like the onesie idea to help keep him away from the stiches. Fagan just had 4 retained baby teeth pulled last week and was fine. He wanted to play tug of war the next day! Bachee will do great. We will all send him special thoughts for a speedy recovery!! Good luck!!

| ![]() Same here. Scout did great after his neuter and baby teeth removal. You couldn't even tell he had any kind of pain the same evening. I actually felt guilty, though, looking at the little dark patch where his jewels used to be....it was kind of sad.
