| My Annual Physical Exam My Annual Physical Exam Samson is 4 year. He is due for annual physical on Wed this week. I am concerned he may need a throat xray due to his low grade cough and some wheezing. Has anyone had this problem and how do you tell a thorax problem from broncitis? Could it be alergy? Concerned daddy (me). Many thanks. Don |

| What your vet might do - if he thinks it is necessary - is a chest x-ray. I would just tell him all your puppy's symptoms and let him do whatever he feels is necessary. Don't worry. Your vet will know what to do and how to treat whatever problem your little guy is having. It's great you're going to the vet. You're doing the right thing! Carol Jean |

| My Micky wheezes alot... it's seasonal for him.... he's 6 years old... he's been doing it since I got him as a pup. The vet said to give him Benedryl when needed. Hope all is well with your Samson.

| Annual Physical Thanks, it good to know we are not alone in these type situations. I did go to the vet today. Does not seem to be any breathing problems for Samson, but will xray tomorrow for the thorax. Got a good tip on Benedryl. Do the childrens liquid type and place it on a small piece of bread. Vet says it taste good. I needed this because Samson is so deceptive in hiding the small tablet (1/4) in the back of his mouth. I find it later and thus no gain from the pill. Don |
