| Urine/Bladder infection - HELP My little Jessy had bladder infection 3 weeks ago. She is 13 months old now and has never been on heat. At first I thought it was it, cause the male is on her back all the time, but after three days I took her to the vet and he ran some tests just to find out that actually it is bladder/urine infection. Gave me a 10 day course antibiotics. I finished the course very religiously. Now the male is again after her, but I cannot see that she is on heat yet. I've got some antibiotics. Do I need to wait to see if she is on heat or must I start giving her antibiotics. My vet is on leave and I dont want to take her to the locum if not really really necessary. He made a mistake with one of my previous little yorkies and she died after 2 weeks.
