| Table food habits My baby is 7 months old she weighs about 6 lbs. She loves people food however I dont give her anythng that isnt good for her. She will eat almost anythng I do. She doesnt really like her dry kibble I have bought nutro, ennova, chicken soup and merricks puppy she picks a lil bit with all that. She loves scrambled eggs so she gets just about 1 teaspoon every other day. So my question is what can I add to her hard food to make her eat it? What about those gravys or sauses? I dont want to start canned food but I want what is best for her and I am driving myself crazy trying to make her eat dog food.Do ya think I have spoiled her to people food and she is gonna hold out on me till she gets her carrots, chicken, broccoli, apples, spinich, cheerios etc. I dont know what to do please help

| Maybe try putting some Chicken/Beef broth over her kibble ,that used to help Bugaboo eat his kibble. I have no experience with the sauces. But when I eat I always have peas, carrots, and green beans for Bug to eat.

| What you are giving her is lovely fresh, preservative free food.If she is healthy and happy ,why worry? My pup eats kibble better in the morning and when out for a walk. She loves her chicken, mince ,chicken necks etc.for dinner. Give her a little Neutri Stat if you are worried about vitamins and minerals. |

| Your dogs sound like mine -- once they have eaten people food - dog food just doesn't do it...... I can get away with feeding my dogs some wet Premium dog food in the morning - first thing - they might not eat it right away, but they're hungry and eventually will eat it. Then I leave dry food out all day - they don't care for this much. Evenings are people food time... I give them good healthy food. ----- Have to tell you about the time I decided to use up some hamburger and make them a meatloaf. I just made up the hamburger with an egg and some cracker crumbs and cooked it. When I gave it to them, they just sat there and looked up at me and said, "This isn't right! Where's the salt and pepper and onions and catsup that are supposed to be in it???" (You might say - they sent it back to the kitchen.) So - my dogs not only prefer people food, but it has to be prepared correctly......not just thrown together. Carol Jean |
