Your dogs sound like mine -- once they have eaten people food - dog food just doesn't do it......
I can get away with feeding my dogs some wet Premium dog food in the morning - first thing - they might not eat it right away, but they're hungry and eventually will eat it.
Then I leave dry food out all day - they don't care for this much.
Evenings are people food time... I give them good healthy food.

Have to tell you about the time I decided to use up some hamburger and make them a meatloaf. I just made up the hamburger with an egg and some cracker crumbs and cooked it.
When I gave it to them, they just sat there and looked up at me and said, "This isn't right! Where's the salt and pepper and onions and catsup that are supposed to be in it???" (You might say - they sent it back to the kitchen.)
So - my dogs not only prefer people food, but it has to be prepared correctly......not just thrown together.
