| Shots Question On Sat. Lil Bear and Moose went to the vet for shots. Moose her DHLPP booster and Lil Bear her annuals. Well I got no sleep on Sat night. My parents were in my room evey hour asking me to check out lil bear. This is the first time that lil bear has sleep with my parents after her annuals. She was real lathrgic (sp) and not wanting to move though polished off the pasta I had giving her. I told them this was normal for her and she would start feeling better by sun or mon. She's getting a bit better now. Was barking tonight and getting back to her normal self. Well my parents know I an on this forum A LOT and wanted me to write and see if anyone else has a pup that acts like this. Moose did fine . |

| Belly had her rabies shot, I dont even think its been a full year and I got a postcard from the vet she needs to come in for well check, rabies shot, and some other shot. Does everyone else take their dogs in for well checks? I am going to take her to one of those petco type clinics where i can get shots much cheaper, only problem is she isnt licensed because she is a house dog or only out back with supervision, hopefully i wont need a license??? it will cost like $40 or so dollars. |

| I actually got all of Oreo's shots at a Petco Clinic. It wasn't so bad i guess.. i don't really know how much the shots cost at a regular clinic. but next weekend i'm taking him for his first rabies shots there. (at vetco) .. |

| Chelsey felt very sick after her shots, the vet gave me a tablet, he said it acts like an asprin for humans... had to give her half the next morning and the other half the day after if she needed it.... she cried when i wanted to pick her up... i even changed vet's after that, coz when he injected her he wasnt gentle at all!! my husband asked if she looked like a horse to him. The next shot she got at the new vet and she didnt even peep, was only itchy and a little sore after that but not lethargic at all.... Yes rabies is a yearly vaccination.

| I've always heard to avoid the Lepto vaccine if possible since toy dogs are sensitive to it..The L stands for Lepto... Also vaccinosis is very common now... (too many vaccines) Rabies is required by law in some states... There is a 3 year vaccine you can get after the initial vaccine.
