Chelsey felt very sick after her shots, the vet gave me a tablet, he said it acts like an asprin for humans... had to give her half the next morning and the other half the day after if she needed it.... she cried when i wanted to pick her up... i even changed vet's after that, coz when he injected her he wasnt gentle at all!! my husband asked if she looked like a horse to him.
The next shot she got at the new vet and she didnt even peep, was only itchy and a little sore after that but not lethargic at all....
Yes rabies is a yearly vaccination.
