| whoo hoo... bunjee's stool has gone back to being more firm again and look ma! no blood! he's eating like a little piggy too. he used to not eat in the mornings so he'd eat his one day portion of kibbles in the evenings, but now he's back to 2 feedings a day again for the past couple days. he's still on antibiotics and will need to stay on it for the next week. i think he's gotten wise to the fact that the meds are in his treats... he normally inhales his treats in one bite. now he's breaking it apart into pieces, trying to separate the pill from the treats. hasn't worked yet tho. i haven't seen him scratch excessively for the past couple days, so i'll see how that goes. i hope, like the blood and the vomiting, it'll eventually go away with the meds. i have to take him back in a week for a follow up visit but i feel so much better now. hopefully when we go back to the vet, he'll be well enough to finish the rest of his vaccines. i think he's wised up to what happens at the vet's as well. when i leave him on the exam table alone while we wait, he's eager to get off and won't stop shaking. hopefully this next visit to the vet will be the last one in a while... |
