| pregnant dog will not eat Hi, my yorkie I believe is 5 weeks along. She has pretty much stopped eating and when I do get her to eat she has become very picky. Is this normal? Any advice please. |

| I have a female that does the same thing. It will usually last a few days, about her 4th.week, then she starts back esting like there's no tomorrow.LOL I do give her nutristat during that time. Is this your girls 1st litter? Always an exciting & stressful time. Welcome to YT |

There are some threads on here in the breeders section with members having the same problems with their females. I would read those too. http://www.debbiejensen.com/signs_of_pregnant.html http://www.2ndchance.info/caninelaborstages.htm http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30628 | |

| Thanks for the advice. Yes this is her first litter. That is if she is pregnant. I am going to take her to the vet next Friday to have him check her out. This is such a great place to be able to ask questions and get feedback. |
