| Any Fur Babies Getting Acupuncture? Our doctor suggested trying acupuncture to treat Jewel. If you have had acupuncture treatment for your fur baby, I would really like to hear your experiance (good or bad) so I can learn more about it. Thanks!

I haven't done that yet but I heard of a dog that had miraculous results where nothing else worked. My vet, Dr. Stephen Blake practices acupuncture but he hasn'r prescribed it for any of mine yet.

Hey, I posted about acupuncture treatment not long ago! See the link to the thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=acupunture It's not MY baby that has the treatment, it's my aunt's doberman who has Wobblers disease. I have been with her to take Lorlei for her treatments. There is a link to her Wobbler's website on the thread...she has pictures and links to acupunture-practicing vets. She SWEARS by it! Take a look at it. She has been doing it for several years and has become very knowledgable about it. I am sure she would be happy to answer any questions for you as far as from an owner's point of view.

Do they stick needles on your dog? Is that what you mean by acupuncture or treat them with herbal medicines?

wow i've never heard of acupuncture for a dog. Just curious do they also put your dog on anesthesia before putting the needles? I really got to ask my vet about acupunture.
