| 15 pound yorkie Ok .. since the purchase of my "yorkie" three years ago ive question the possibility of her being mixed, becasue to start she weights 15 pounds. She solid thoug, no fat belly, very good muscle tone and runs like a speeding bullet. She has the exact color pattern , muzzle and head shape , ears every thing to what a yorkie should be. Ive never kept her hair long though, i had to shave her twice because of a skin allergies. so her hair of course came in a little course. just wanted to know if there are any other parents to plus size yorkies ![]() |

| ![]() I have met many plus size yorkies, and I have no reason to think they were mixes. Just big girls and boys. I have a friend who is looking for a large Yorkie. Her 5 lb. Yorkie, named Teddy, was tragically killed by a Golden Retriever. ![]() |

| ![]() There are lots of members on here that have yorkies that are above the standard weight. Just bc your yorkie may be a little bit heavy doesnt mean that its not really a yorkie! We would love to see pics of your baby!

| ![]() Its funny though because i have two yorkie and i just got a teacup silky on thursday. My eldest Snuggles, she is 3 years old 15 lbs, then comes Snitch which i got form the same breeder and he is 7 month 9lbs 13oz, and finally is Spiro, he is 5 month and im not sure if he even weights anything, which is funnt because silkies are supposed to be bigger than yorkies. He is the size of my yokies when they where 13 weeks..lol.. ive always had strange pets. ![]() |
