| I agree with Snow Wa. i have always given my dogs table food. Not scraps, if I won't eat it neither will they. So no fat,gristle or any of that. But any meat,vegetable,fruit I am eating I will give them too. My vet said that is fine if not in excess and it isn't junk. My friend feeds a holistic diet to her dogs and it consists of bison/beef (ground), oatmeal, a vegetable and a vitamin mix. Her dogs live very long lives and they are all in fantastic shape. She credits this diet for extending the life of a dog with inoperable cancer for 3 yrs!! Sounds pretty much like table food to me. |
