| I would feed him a good puppy food and supplement it with other foods that he likes. There are a lot of healthy foods that could help him eat more and gain weight. My dogs eat Premium dry food and dry Iams - and they eat chicken, other meats, rice, eggs, carrots, cottage cheese, yogart, etc..... and get leftovers from whatever I eat. They don't get a lot of any of these foods, but they do eat a wide variety of different foods. If I fed my dogs food they like - they would eat nonstop 24 hours a day and be grossly fat. So - I feed them what they like - but only as much as they need. I know that dog foods that are high in protein (like Innova) tend to put more weight on dogs... Carol Jean |
