| What do you feed your pup it could be caused by the food. I would get an oatmeal shampoo also.

| One of my Yorkies (Ruby) has dry skin and a little bit of dandrif because of the time of year (cold/snow). I use shampoo and conditioner on her plus a leave in conditioner. I always bath them weekly but with Ruby i have to bath her every other week because of her dry skin. I also moisturize her tummy with cream because we go for walks alot and she's trained to go outside for her bathroom breaks so her skin gets exposed to the dry/cold weather every day. The leave in conditioner and moisturizing cream seem to do the trick for her. Are you bathing you pup more than once a week? and what Chachi said is a strong possability too (i never thought about that with Ruby).

| Same problem with my Lil Duke. He has always had a little dry skin problem, but this winter it has been HORRIBLE. I mean it is just like he has human dandruff. I use oatmeal shampoo and conditioner that has coconut oil in it, still no help. I even tried a shampoo that is suppose to wash the flakes out of their hair/fur, no help either. So if anyone has any answers to this problem I am definitely open to hear them. |

| Have you tried adding any extra oils to their diets? A good Omega oil can help. Such as Salmon oil or Flax seed oil, or even Dr. Udo's blend. I know they have some esp for animals, by my holistic vet often suggests using human supplements as the quality is more regulated than the quality of animal supplements. As for amount, you want to start with just a little added to their food (either once or twice) per day, and then build it up little by little until their poos are getting soft...then back off a little until everything is running fine Good luck...and here's keeping my fingers crossed for an early Spring! |

| I don't know if you ever watch HSN. (Home Shopping Network). They have Pampered Pets where all the products are from and made in Italy with no additives. I bought Kayla the Vanilla shampoo and conditioner. It smells heavenly and works great. All her hair came back thicker than before on her legs. She had chewed her back legs from allergies. No more scratching and her hair is sooooo thick and pretty. Try it and I think you will love it. They have alot of different ones to try. |

| I am having the same problem with my girls. I have never had them go through this before. I took them to the vet. She did a skin scrape on their back to check for mites. She had me put them on Resolution just in case it was mites. Nothing is helping. They are on a omega oil added to their food every day. I changed their food. I use a oatmeal shampoo with a conditioner. I have taken them back to the vet again because it is not working. When this all started it was all 6 of mine. I said that was different, because it started out with only Sadie then in know time all 6 had it. Now all are fine but Sadie and Jackie. I do not know what to do. Poor babies. I see dry flakes on there back, when I rub there back, you can tell it is itching them. I have to make another appointment. I guess.

| Use Vet solution oatmeal shampoo & conditioner as external care, use Grizzly Salmon Oil as internal care both products are top rated and it works on my puppy. |
