One of my Yorkies (Ruby) has dry skin and a little bit of dandrif because of the time of year (cold/snow). I use shampoo and conditioner on her plus a leave in conditioner. I always bath them weekly but with Ruby i have to bath her every other week because of her dry skin. I also moisturize her tummy with cream because we go for walks alot and she's trained to go outside for her bathroom breaks so her skin gets exposed to the dry/cold weather every day.
The leave in conditioner and moisturizing cream seem to do the trick for her.
Are you bathing you pup more than once a week? and what Chachi said is a strong possability too (i never thought about that with Ruby). |
