| Nova seems to be needing veggies I noticed that Nova is really obsessed with eating tree sticks and other plant stuff that she finds on the floor which makes me think that she may need veggies in her diet. I only feed her kibbles. What can I add to her food to give her what she is missing? |

| You could try some green beans and carrots.

| Green beans you can buy the frozen cut beans and give that thawed, carrots can be fresh, I have bigger yorkies 12 lbs, i peel then cut the carrot in 1/2 down the middle, then cut it in 1/2 again down the middle, I give it raw. You can cook the carrot and dice it if you want to mix it in with his food.

| You can give it to them cooked or raw. Raw carrots are great to chew on, just make it an appropriate size for the size dog. I left a bag of whole carrots on the floor once and forgot about them. Next thing I know Finny is running through the house with carrot in her mouth and I watched her as she devoured it. I looked at the bag, she had chewed a hole in it then pulled the carrot out. I wanted to see how far she would go and she kept coming back and she’d take a carrot, run and hide behind the chair and eat it. Of course I stopped her after two which was probably too late anyway but it was funny she really enjoyed it. Next day she had orange poop. Now I use baby carrots.

I just gave nova and Maya a raw organic carrot and they both like it. I wish I could post a picture on a mobile version. I will start adding green beans as well. I always feel like kibbles is not enough, not sure why 🤔 | |

| Not on a daily basis. He is strictly kibble only, never has table food, so any new food affects his stool, makes it softer. Basically every 3rd day. My now passed girls, also bigger yorkies at 13 Lbs one at 17 Lbs, had 1/4 slice every night, it never affected their stool. Just as a heads up Adding a new food you will see changes in their stool but, as their digestive system gets use to it the stool will go back to normal.
