All I can say about wet food is that I don’t intend to ever feed it again after what happened with my toy poodle many years ago. He would stay with my grandpa who lived next door to me while I was at work. He only would feed him canned food. He got so picky that that’s all he would ever eat. His teeth got really bad. I think the dry food is better for their teeth. That’s just my opinion but as long as my Sailor will eat dry, that’s what she’ll get. Maybe try a slightly different one with different flavor??

Kibble cleaning teeth is a myth. Unless you're feeding a specifically formulated kibble MADE for helping oral health (such as prescription food), it doesn't do much more than a human chewing hard pretzels to clean teeth. In other words -- not much.

Feeding wet food all the time is fine if one can afford it. Just brush the teeth for best results with teeth.
