| I Broked My Baby I did something! I know that! Baby Freya has a pinkish bump on her head that is now partially purplish. It hurts her when I touch it or try to comb her hair for a bow. The bow may be the culprit. It's not a traditional fabric bow. It's a clamp style bow. Either it irritated her or I pinched her! I dunno! I'm kinda worried. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would put some hydrocortisone cream on it to see if it helps decrease any inflammation. Keep a close eye on it to make sure any bare areas are not enlarging (bc could be fungus then). And use a non-pulling clip for now rather than a bow.

| Keep an eye on it but if it gets worse she needs to go to the vet.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I did the same thing one time and the groomer busted me. Once I found another bow, the problem went away quickly.

| She's her normal, wandering self...except for the boo boo. |

You are an attentive daddy. I'm sure a boo-boo free life is in Freya's future.

| A friend on Facebook thinks it could be a sting or bite. Ugh. I hope not. I worry enough. I try to be attentive. I feel like I'm not doing enough. I haven't found a vet yet, looking. I haven't been able to make a grooming apt yet. |

There is some stress involved (for you and the little one) any time a beloved fur-kid requires grooming or vet services. Half the battle is establishing a relationship with those who provide the services. I've never been shy about all this with those who provide services and hope you won't be either. I do think about you and Freya with the vet and groomer. Hope you are able to overcome this issue soon. --KatysMom

Ugh, a new problem. Just when I was starting to look through listings online and whatnot, gather info, a STORM is coming. Hurricane Florence. Something else to fret about. I don't think I'll be able to find and get an appointment this week, obviously. And I'm worried about baby having enough water. If I have to, I'll sacrifice, but I don't think it'll come to that. Update on the bump/whatever: I checked her head again, just now. I think I see a lil healing scar. She's letting me look now. It may very well be that I pinched her with the clip...

| Wow, I just found a vet RIGHT UP THE ROAD. I've seen it a bunch of times over the past, go by their on the way to getting food quite frequently...and it has 80 reviews at 4.9 stars. Looking into it... |

| Duchess had something similar on her head. I think she may have been bitten by something because we were doing a lot of hiking.......lots of bugs. Anyway it cleared up in a few days with no issues. |
