YorkieTalk Newbie! | probiotic Hello, My senior yorkie has colitis. It has been under control for the past couple of years but recently, past 3 months she is having flare ups. She is on Hills I/D stew. I'm trying the purina flora probiotic but it seems to have made it worse, her bm's are very mushy. Should I continue with it? |

| I have found that is a great probiotic but that sometimes it gets a bit worse before it gets better.

| The same happened with Abby. When I started her on the probiotic, it got worse before it got better. I was initially told it might take a month for it to really start working. That is about how long it took.
