| Need to change food Hi friends, my 2 yorkies got spayed today. I was told that the bigger one Coco who is 6 years old needs to loose weight. She is 10 pounds, and now with the spaying she will gain it faster. Can some one recommend any low fat dry foods that helps keep them healthy? I no they need to walk more but when it comes to food I am not sure what to feed them. They are currently on Blue Buffalo Small Breed Chicken & Rice Dog Food. thanks |

| I feed my 5 yo 12 pound boy Wellness CORE ....grain free....reduced fat. He's not over weight he's a bigger yorkie, grain free because he has allergy's and reduced fat, hey, it can't hurt. I have had many a female spayed and they NEVER gained weight, but they were walked and had plenty of exercise, never got any table food, just saying.

| thanks... yea my Coco doesn't get table food, not even wet dog food. she has only gotten dry food. I am just a little scared that by spaying her she will get fat very soon. I have always heard this I am not sure if all dogs gain weight but I have always heard people say they gain more after spaying. |
