I feed my 5 yo 12 pound boy Wellness CORE ....grain free....reduced fat. He's not over weight he's a bigger yorkie, grain free because he has allergy's and reduced fat, hey, it can't hurt. I have had many a female spayed and they NEVER gained weight, but they were walked and had plenty of exercise, never got any table food, just saying.
