| automatic pet feeder Does anyone use an automatic pet feeder that distributes food at a certain time. My dogs seem to want to eat between 4:30 -5:00 am (WAYYYY to early for me) I have tried getting them to wait until later but they will sit there and whine the entire time. Its exhausting. I was thinking of getting a pet feeder that distributes their food automatically, so they don't keep waking me up.

| What time do they eat dinner? They might need a small snack before bed.

| I use a feeder that has a timer to set when the "door" flips open offering the food. I think it might have been originally for cats, but it works great for us. It actually has two "doors" but I only use one side and put a dish with water in the other side with the door open all the time. She is very in-tune for the sound of the door opening and she rushes to the dish! But you could use both dishes if you needed two different feeding times.

| They eat dinner between 5-6 pm on average. If I get home late it is later. I like the idea of a snack later in the evening. I think the issue is that they are usually relaxing and going to bed around 8 pm. I have tried to keep them up longer but for the most part they like to either relax or sleep by that time.

| I ended up buying one from ebay. The reviews on amazon were decent. I am hoping it will work. Most feeders I found to be pretty expensive especially when I need two of them. They just arrived today so I'll see how it works
