I use a feeder that has a timer to set when the "door" flips open offering the food. I think it might have been originally for cats, but it works great for us.
It actually has two "doors" but I only use one side and put a dish with water in the other side with the door open all the time.
She is very in-tune for the sound of the door opening and she rushes to the dish!
But you could use both dishes if you needed two different feeding times.
