Yorkie Yakker | Probiotics So, Mya saw the vet today and they are doing a chem panel. (fecal tests all came back negative) Will find out tomorrow how that turns out. (Please say prayer..) I asked about probiotic and he sent me home with FortiFlora by Purina. I have DogZymes Probiotic Max ordered from Nature's Farmacy but he just sort of looked past the info I brought along on the ingredients etc. The ingredient list between the two is quite different. Anyone have some thought on these two? (of course he wants to sell the one he has in his office.....) Seems like the DogZymes Probiotic Max has more to offer. Also, brought home Purina ProPlan EN, dry and/or canned- Mya wouldn't touch it. IAMS Veterinary Formula, canned; Mya wouldn't eat that either. Will try again in the morning.

| Fortiflora is well known in the veterinary field, but I haven't used it for my little girl. I have used Nature's Farmacy Probiotic Max , and I have given some to several people for their dogs. I'm not a member of their new affiliate program, so I have no reason to recommend the product other than to help others. I trust their company, and I have ordered many other products from them. They have been making probiotics for 32 years. I wouldn't hesitate to call and speak to them at Nature's Farmacy. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. I hope your baby feels better. I will pray for Mya and you. https://naturesfarmacy.com/forgan/

| I've heard a lot of things about that before but I don't have any experience using that! It's almost 1 year since I learned about this best probiotic for dogs and quite helpful for me. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Another vote here for Natures Farmacy and Probiotic Max. I love that they have nutritionists on staff at this company, whom you can get a hold of if needed too.

| We use a daily probiotic chew by ark naturals called gentle digest- now I feel like I should compare!

Yorkie Yakker | I looked at the Ark Naturals Gentle Digest and I think it looks good. It's just darn hard to know what is best...... I like the idea of the daily chew. The stuff I ordered has to sprinkled on Mya's food so I'm hoping she will either not notice it or love the taste of it.

| Oh good! I actually really like ark naturals products in general and just didn't think twice when I went with their probiotic. I am so glad your little lady is looking to be on the mend!

| That's wonderful news! I worried about Katie not liking Nature's Farmacy probiotics, but she loves it. So do my friends' pups who use it.

| Hello All, I'm new to the forum, but, not new to Yorkies. We're on our 4th since the early 70s. Our current Yorkie is 11 years young and approx. 5 lbs. Regarding Probiotics, we give Jeze-a-Belle a little plain Yogurt and pet milk at times. She seems to respond very nicely to either. We get our Pet milk from an organic farm. Our vet follws a holistic plan opposed to many others. Jeze Severna Park, MD |
