Thanks for all that, my little man Merlin licks only one of his paws on a pretty regular basis.
You guys are mostly from the States and I don't think that I get the stuff you can buy over there here in the UK. I want the best for my two little men and hope that you can give me a couple of ideas what to get best. Mind you, choose little tinkers, don't like the dry stuff too much, they prefer the meaty bits.
Seems there is an awful lot of knowledge out there to be shared, I am glad to became a member!

I choose this food because kodie was on hill's l/d and he was was lacking what normal food has in it... my vet thought if i switched him to a regular food inside of a perscription that he would have a better coat, skin, and maybe gain weight. but anyway.. if i dont see anymore improvement within the next 2 months... i'm gonna try another dog food that another vet recommended to me... I think its potato and duck... or something like that... its for dogs with skin problems.

May I ask why Kodie was previously on Hill's l/d ? Does he have a liver problem? I can see where he would be skinny after being on that, it doesn't have much flavor appeal to dogs.

If he has allergies, keep his diet very simple. No treats.

I don't "think" I would bathe him every 3-4 days for the itching, it may be drying his skin out and making him itch even more.

I hope you get to the root of the problem and little Kodie feels better soon.
