| Puss filled bumps covering yorkie?? Please help! my baby minnie has these puss filled bumps all over her underside(belly, legs, chest, armpits) they do not seem to cause her any pain or soreness. She is just really itchy with them. Has anyone dealt with this before? i have no idea what it could be. I have recently switched her shampoos to a soothing one as well. |

| Sounds like a staph infection. I would deff take her to the vet as it will not clear up on it's own & will get worse if left untreated. Welcome to YT ! |

| Welcome to YT. Puss filled bumps is not normal, this needs a vet visit ASAP. This is not diagnosed over the internet. How long has your baby had these bumps. Even if someones pup has had these symptoms you will still have to see a vet. Could also be an allergic reaction to all shampoos. Please get your baby to the vet ASAP.

| +1 This baby needs a round of antibiotics, and you need to go to the vet for that. Meanwhile, she is very uncomfortable, so go ASAP.

Agree.......we are NOT vets....most of us.....and while some of us have been doing what we do with Yorkies, some of us for as much as 40 years.....we can not diagnose over the internet and we certainly can not prescribe medication for your baby over the internet. This could be as complicated as a case of demodectic mange(Demodicosis) or as simple as heat rash......in BOTH cases you need to get a vets professional eyes on the issue and get medicine for it. Even a simple little "skin rash", if caused by a specific bacteria or virus, if it gets systemic, you can end up with major organ failure. Get the baby to a vet, not emergently but within the next couple of days for the pups own comfort, and get treatment started. You are getting on the weekend, I would want it seen before next Monday, and treatment started. Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 09-16-2015 at 03:26 PM. | |

| Get to the vet! This sounds widespread and serious. |
