Vegan Kibble for Protein Restricted Yorkie?

@ Jenna AK .. Here is another . Evolution Diet Vegan Kibble . It says they ship all over the US ( not sure if that includes AK ) & Canada .

Our previous dog, a Bichon, who passed at 17 1/2' had IBS most of his life. The only food he tolerated was Whitefish and Sweet potato, I believe it was Wellness.

Thanks MYOSCAR I'll run these all past my vet when I finally get hold of him again (he's been real hard to reach) and see which one he thinks is best for her.

ETA: Oh, I did see that the second food you linked me to has meat flavorings, sorry, I don't recall if I mentioned but Jenna can't even have these. Even her medicines need to be fruit flavored.

Wow, 17 1/2? That's fantastic! Jenna turned 7 this year and she's been vegan for 2 years. I do worry that she's getting enough nutrition without meat. She seems to have aged a lot since the vasculitis in early 2013.

I did try her on whitefish before she was properly diagnosed. It had seemed she would do well with it, then suddenly relapsed and I had to cut out all meat or animals products. She used to love a little bite of cheese as a treat occasionally, now if I eat cheese I have to sneak it so she doesn't see and give me those eyes! 0.0

Ok , sorry about that . I did not see any meat flavoring . It said veggie burger flavor .. I hope you find something ..

That is so very kind of you, thank you. I'm still waiting to hear from my vet and clear a food with him (half the test results are still missing) but your offer is very sweet.

Ah okay...perhaps I missed that, been known to happen, my eyesight is definitely not what it once was...nor my attention span either.
