| I pay $34 for the Prescription Hills Low Fat ID, so the Purina seems reasonable in my case. Depends what one pays now for personal comparisons. Wellness is a great price however, wish I could use that |

| I normally would have been shocked as well but had actually looked at some of their formulas a while ago after Brit reported some good results. A friend is using a Purina item on her mini doxie and he is doing very well.

| Yeah I used to totally write Purina off but I actually prefer them to RC or SD right now. They have some nice formulas IMO. Some are... not so nice. I mean Beneful is gross and Kibbles and Bits is nasty (is that even purina? Not sure). But they have some sport lines (in the Pro Plan line) that I know a lot of active dogs do really well on, plus the sensitive skin & stomach formula also works for a ton of dogs. I don't like the inclusion of menadione BUT I haven't done enough research to see if there's been any good studies on the effects.
